FLARES FOR THE DAY

(jacket from Wet Seal, Trouvé white tshirt, Ali & Kris kimona, Jessica Simpson jeans, bag from local consignment store, gifted rings)

So glad to finally have the weekend here, after an incredibly busy week. I'm currently listening to Taylor Swift's new album (don't judge), and I am thinking a french press of coffee should happen in the near future. These photos were taken the other day when I decided to break out some flares for the day. I surprise myself every time I put a pair on and love them. I especially love a good black pair!

Well, here's to a good (and hopefully productive) Saturday!

VICTORIAN BELLEFONTE

(H&M leggings, Trouve button-up- similar, leather jacket from Wet Seal, Danielle Nicole bag, G by Guess oxfords, vintage cameo ring, other ring from randon boutique)

Yesterday, my Sunday was spent in the small town of Bellefonte, PA. As you can see, the park here was just gorgeous. The day could not have been better. The sun was shining, and I had a really great person by my side. Grabbed some breakfast at a super cute coffee place right in town (called Cool Beans) and even discovered an amazing antique mall. Of course I couldn't resist getting some jewelry there. Antique mall jewelry could possibly be my number one weakness. Actually, anything vintage for that matter. There were loads and loads of vintage clothes, but not much time for me to search through them. And yes, I am already thinking of when I will return to see what goodies I can find.

EASTER LACE

(H&M dress, leggings from Wet Seal, G by Guess oxfords, vintage ring, necklace from JCPenny)

Pulled out this lace dress for Easter Sunday this year that I got on the sale rack at H&M several months ago. It had yet to be worn, so I thought why not avoid those vibrant floral dresses and wear something a little more classic (and a little more "me"). I decided to pair it with faux leather leggings and flats instead of tights and heels to make it a little more "church friendly."

Tonight, I am very excited to be attending Inside Generation Style with Alex! Who else is gioing? Hoping to get some great photos that I can share here on the blog. Follow me on Twitter and Instagram @ forfiloveme for some live action!

HOMETOWN FAVORITE

(Trouvé chambray shirt- similar, jacket from Wet Seal, DKNY leggings, INC International booties from Macy's, vintage Timex watch, gifted rings, other random and thrifted jewelry)

Today has been a comfortable and relaxing Tuesday afternoon. I am spending it at a local coffee shop that is located in an old church, as you can see. Probably one of my favorite places in my hometown. I am a lover of their spiced chai. Today I opted for a frozen one because of the warm weather we have been given. Why does it already feel like spring? To be completely honest, I am still waiting for a snow blizzard. Not so sure if I am quite ready to say goodbye to my winter wardrobe.

On a brighter note, only one week until I am in the great city of New York! So excited for all the fun fashion week will bring and to catch up with friends. Woo hoo!

POTOMAC RIVER & SUNSHINE

(H&M shorts (similar) and scarf, jacket from Wet Seal, Hue tights, G by Guess oxfords)

Last Friday, I spent the afternoon in Harpers Ferry with Marcy. Definitely one of my favorite places to go. I absolutely love it there! We were blessed with a little bit of sunshine, too. Here are some photos she snapped of me on her camera during our small adventure. This is the view of the Potomac River from Harpers Ferry; isn't it beautiful? You can see her post about it all here. Wishing we had more time to spend there, but of course we couldn't stay very long. The town looked prepared for Christmas, with lots of cute decorations everywhere. Cannot wait to go back and enjoy a little bit of the holiday season!

GLITTER AND GOLD

(Millau lace dress from LF Stores, black leggings from Wet Seal, thrifted bag, random branded gold oxfords, Michael Kors rose gold watch, other random and thrifted jewelry)

I am in love with this top/dress!! So glad I decided to buy it while in SoHo during NYFW. Excited to play around with it and try wearing it all different ways throughout the fall and winter! These pictures are from the evening I spent downtown Frederick with my best friend on Friday. One of my favorite places to go! We enjoyed yummy Mexican food and then went to a local boutique's fashion show. Pictures of the show to come!

P.S. - I have entered a contest for DC Vintage Fashion Week (hosted by DC Goodwill Fashionista and Spicy Candy DC), and I need your vote! Just follow this link to 'like' the photo of my favorite thrift find, a Christian Dior blazer I found for only $5 at my favorite thrift store! The contest ends on Thursday so make sure to vote now. Thanks so much! xoxo
