Hoping that everyone had a great Thanksgiving! After a nice breakfast with my oldest brother and his wife, I spent my afternoon serving at our local Rescue Mission. This year I wanted to think about those who cannot enjoy Thanksgiving Day the way I am used to enjoying it. It was a blessing to humble myself for just a few hours in order to help my community. Thanksgiving dinner was delicious, as always. Oh, but I didn't snap too many pictures.. I was too busy enjoying a second plate.

FALL IS MY FAVORITE TIME

I wish the leaves could be this color all year long. It's by far my favorite time of the year! Of course I couldn't resist snapping pictures under this gorgeous tree. I enjoyed morning coffee with my mom today at a local coffee spot in my hometown. Pumpkin spice coffee to be exact! I had a nice chat with the owner of the shop, and she reminded me to follow my dreams. Now that I am older, I enjoy the feeling of living in a small town and getting to know the people here. You never know when you will meet someone who will brighten your day. 

I wore this dress here too.

LF STORES FALL LOOKBOOK

I don't know if it's the bipolar weather or just the fact that the season is changing, but I have been lacking a sense of fall inspiration lately. Good news, though! This changed when I viewed the Fall 2011 lookbook from LF Stores. Loving everything! I want to own it all. I think sometimes I try to go too far away from my true personal style in order to try something new or different. Of course this can be considered a good thing, but gotta remember to be who I am and wear what makes me feel comfortable in my own skin.

GLITTER AND GOLD

I am in love with this top/dress!! So glad I decided to buy it while in SoHo during NYFW. Excited to play around with it and try wearing it all different ways throughout the fall and winter! These pictures are from the evening I spent downtown Frederick with my best friend on Friday. One of my favorite places to go! We enjoyed yummy Mexican food and then went to a local boutique's fashion show. Pictures of the show to come!
