THE CAMOFLAUGE JACKET

(jacket from antique mall, thirifted sweater, skirt from Urban Outiftters, Hue tights, G by Guess oxfrods, Michael Kors watch, gifted rings)

I apologize for my lack of updating lately. But, hey, take a look at this camo jacket I picked up at an antique mall during my stay in Pennsylvania. For $5! I am currently in Maryland having a quick visit with my family. It's been ahwile since I have made the trip back here, so I am enjoying the time with my parents. The two days always go by entiretly too fast.

P.S. - Yes, you see correctly. I chopped off my hair donated to Locks of Love yesterday morning! I haven't had my hair short in about 3 years, so it will take some getting used to. All in all, I was very excited about it!

VISITING THE 9/11 MEMORIAL

(Madewell t-shirt, shorts from Forever 21- similar, Madden Girl sandals, Danielle Nicole bag, Michael Kors watch, random sunglasses and headband)

My weekend also involved a visit to the 9/11 Memorial. This was my first time there, and I think they have done a beautiful job with it. They have made it into a relaxing place where the friends and families of those lost on 9/11 can go and remember them. It was definitely nice to see a little bit more of the city I call my home.

HALF AND HALF

(thrifted blouse, shorts from South Moon Under- similar, Jefferey Campbell sandals,  Michael Kors watch, gifted ring, Danielle Nicole bag, thrifted bracelets, random sunglasses)

My weekend was spent with Zachary in his hometown of Warren, PA. I had fun being a little tourist and even making him feel like a tourist in his own town. Our day was spent enjoying the beautiful weather and gorgeous scenery. There is always adventure waiting for me whenever I spend time with him, and I love it. It makes my escapes from the city worth it. I even got to enjoy some Tim Hortons, which I was first introduced to by Marcy. Sometimes I feel like I am living two different lives, but a part of me likes it that way sometimes. Let's just say I am half and half. Half city girl and half country girl. Wait, did I just say that?

Lots more pictures will be showing up here of the beautiful things I got to see near Warren.

Stumbled across this street in State College this past weekend. Isn't the colorful artwork awesome?

Dreams can fly
Farther than airplanes
Higher than rockets
And more powerful than
superman

WALNUT STREET

(vintage romper, Express sweater, Steve Madden bag - similar, Kelsi Dagger sandals, gifted rings, Michael Kors watch, all thrifted bracelets)

Spent my Saturday morning getting breakfast at a small town cafe in PA and found this cute park across the street. I enjoyed some much needed relaxation after a crazy week here in the city. It was beautiful weather and a perfect day to be spent outside. More of my weekend will be showing up on the blog soon. Stay tuned!

P.S. - Who wants to buy me a beach vacation so I can tan my white, white legs?
