HALF AND HALF

(thrifted blouse, shorts from South Moon Under- similar, Jefferey Campbell sandals,  Michael Kors watch, gifted ring, Danielle Nicole bag, thrifted bracelets, random sunglasses)

My weekend was spent with Zachary in his hometown of Warren, PA. I had fun being a little tourist and even making him feel like a tourist in his own town. Our day was spent enjoying the beautiful weather and gorgeous scenery. There is always adventure waiting for me whenever I spend time with him, and I love it. It makes my escapes from the city worth it. I even got to enjoy some Tim Hortons, which I was first introduced to by Marcy. Sometimes I feel like I am living two different lives, but a part of me likes it that way sometimes. Let's just say I am half and half. Half city girl and half country girl. Wait, did I just say that?

Lots more pictures will be showing up here of the beautiful things I got to see near Warren.

NYC PHOTO DIARY

(outfit one: Nally & Millie white crochet dress, Jeffrey Campbell sandals, thrifted bag -- outfit two: thrifted chiffon blouse, Mimi Chica shorts, thrifted bag, Montego Bay Club sandals, aviators from Charming Charlie)

Spent three days in the city which included: seeing the Statue of Liberty, relaxing at Saint Patrick's Cathedral, being surrounded by tourists in Times Square, visiting the FIT museum exhibit, walking the Brooklyn Bridge at night, eating delicious NY pizza, shopping in SoHo, and strolling through Central Park. Oh, and I saw someone propose on the Brooklyn Bridge. My friend videotaped it on the guy's iPhone. It was so cute!

Had such a great time exploring the city with my friend. I'm already thinking about the next time I want to go up there.

WELCOME TO TRINITY HALL

(classic Gap denim jacket, thrifted lace tank, thrifted polka dot maxi, Jeffrey Campbell sandals, gifted watch, Forever 21 ring, bracelet from Charming Charlie, other random and thrifted jewelry)

Still thinking about the aweome Irish dinner my cousins treated me to before I left Texas. Enjoyed some Kriek and good ol' Irish music. Oh, and the dance party we had back home that turned into some pretty cool shots.

Hope you all are having a good week!

TEXAS REALLY IS PRETTY

(Talbots tee, thrifted maxi skirt, Jeffrey Campbell sandals, vintage jewelry, aviators from Charming Charlie)

My little cousin and I went over to this park after getting some much needed iced coffee tonight. It has become my new favorite place here in McKinney. Just wishing I experienced it sooner. Everyone says Texas is not that pretty, but I think the view there proves that statement wrong.

One week until I am back home. Getting super excited!

STAY OR GO?

(thrifted Calvin Klein embroidered top, Forever 21 shorts, thrifted belt, Jeffrey Campbell shoes, watch from Salon du Vintage, other thrifted jewelry)

Look at that ugly, dead grass. Cannot wait to see the real green grass back home! I enjoyed my days off this past week and found an amazing antique mall that had the biggest selection of jewelry I have ever seen. It was seriously heaven. Now I kinda wish I was staying in Texas, just for that.

P.S. -- See the post from my giveaway winner here and follow her blog. So glad you are enjoying the products, Hayley!

NEW FAVORITE BLOG

(images via Who Stole My Litas!)

I have bookmarked my newest obsession -- this hilarious new blogger at Who Stole My Litas! Check out all the different faces in the platform JC Litas.

We've all seen her. From the design interns that wobble down 7th Avenue to the cream of the fashion blogger crop. On fashion Tumblr's everywhere. In green, blue, yellow, suede, fur, glitter and even denim. But lately they've been popping up on more than just the fashion flock. So I have to ask, who stole my Litas!
