BAY RIDGE, I LOVE YOU

(shorts from Nordstrom, borrowed top and necklace, Steve Madden bag and sunglasses, Kelsi Dagger sandals, bracelet from SoHo, gifted rings)

All I have to say is that I love my new neighborhood. So stinkin' much.

Who wants to come visit?!

FLOWER CHILD

(Eight Sixty maxi dress from Nordstrom, random belt from another dress, Kelsi Dagger sandals, gifted rings and necklace, thrifted bracelets, random sunglasses)

These photos are from a little park Zachary and I stopped at this past Sunday. We enjoyed a quick picnic lunch while we were on the way back to the bus stop. I am extra excited that today is Wednesday because tomorrow I will be heading home to Maryland after work for an exciting event this weekend (I will share more details soon!). It will be a super long day, but it will all be worth it in the end. Cannot wait to see my family and friends back home.

Hope everyone's week is going well. Cheers to it almost being the weekend!

WALNUT STREET

(vintage romper, Express sweater, Steve Madden bag - similar, Kelsi Dagger sandals, gifted rings, Michael Kors watch, all thrifted bracelets)

Spent my Saturday morning getting breakfast at a small town cafe in PA and found this cute park across the street. I enjoyed some much needed relaxation after a crazy week here in the city. It was beautiful weather and a perfect day to be spent outside. More of my weekend will be showing up on the blog soon. Stay tuned!

P.S. - Who wants to buy me a beach vacation so I can tan my white, white legs?

SATURDAY + SUNDAY

(thrifted dress, vintage Calvin Klein denim vest - similar, Kelsi Dagger sandals, random sunglasses)

I spent the majority of my weekend with Alex up in her neighborhood. She took me to this amazing park (Fort Tryon Park), and I completely fell in love with it. How awesome is the view? It was the perfect place to relax. Last night we whipped up some guacamole and tacos for a little fiesta night. Best decision ever. I have missed Mexican food like crazy. This morning began with some Starbucks and reading the New York Times. We then went back to the park to just lay out and listen to music. I definitely have enjoyed my "no traveling" weekend. Not only was the weather perfect, but I loved spending time with a great friend.

Trying to block out the fact tomorrow is Monday, which means the start to a new work week. Why can't weekends last forever?

NEON GREEN

(vintage top, thrifted jeans, Kelsi Dagger sandals, gifted and random rings, all vintage bracelets)

Well, the weekend has flown by as always. Gonna jump on the bus for the 100th time this month and head back to the city here soon. I got brave and wore this bright green top yesterday, despite my dad and boyfriend thinking I looked like a celery stick. This is the furthest I will be taking the whole neon trend this season.
