THE BEAUTY OF FALL

(vintage sweater, Charlotte Russe jeans, Michael Kors watch, INC International boots)

Well, I am still in Pennsylvania. Hurricane Sandy has been one heck of a storm. Each time I watch the news, I cannot believe the damage it has done. All of the people affected are in my prayers! It looks like I won't be making it back to the city until the weekend, and I am hoping that my apartment is still intact. At least here I have electricity and internet. I am also not complaining that I get to see Zachary every day. It's definitely been an interesting week so far, being away from my apartment and the office for more than just a few days.

These photos were taken in the very small town of Warren. Although it's been quite rainy and cold here, I have loved seeing the beauty of fall. My plan for the weekend: convince Zach to take me camping! It won't take much convincing though, since it's his favorite thing to do.

FLOWERS IN THE PARK

(Dolce Vita jacket, thrifted sweater, DKNY leggings, INC International boots, Danielle Nicole bag, gifted bracelet, thrifted rings)

A few photos from this past Saturday when I went to The Smoke Joint. Strolled through a little park and snapped some shots of the pretty flowers in the garden. Cannot wait until everything is bloomed and the sun is always out! Looking forward to the nice weather this coming weekend (hoping that the forecast is right). On that same note, I cannot wait for Friday to be here. It will be spent heading back home for Easter. So excited to spend time with family and friends for the weekend. Now, all I have to do is keep busy so the rest of the week flies by!

HOMETOWN FAVORITE

(Trouvé chambray shirt- similar, jacket from Wet Seal, DKNY leggings, INC International booties from Macy's, vintage Timex watch, gifted rings, other random and thrifted jewelry)

Today has been a comfortable and relaxing Tuesday afternoon. I am spending it at a local coffee shop that is located in an old church, as you can see. Probably one of my favorite places in my hometown. I am a lover of their spiced chai. Today I opted for a frozen one because of the warm weather we have been given. Why does it already feel like spring? To be completely honest, I am still waiting for a snow blizzard. Not so sure if I am quite ready to say goodbye to my winter wardrobe.

On a brighter note, only one week until I am in the great city of New York! So excited for all the fun fashion week will bring and to catch up with friends. Woo hoo!

SUNDAY AFTERNOON

(grey knit sweater from Old Navy (similar), black jeans from Gap, INC International booties from Macy's, Danielle Nicole New York bag, Michael Kors rose gold watch, other random and thrifted jewelry)

Spent yesterday afternoon at my favorite coffee place in the world. My mom and I took my sister-in-law for the first time while she was here with my brother visiting for Thanksgiving. All we do is brag about the place, and she was finally able to see why! Only downside of the day - they were out of wheat bagels (it happens more than I would like it to). Instead, I enjoyed a sesame bagel and sipped some 'Gingerman' coffee. Sorry about these pictures not being the greatest. Don't you just love how dorky I look smiling with my eyes closed? My mom must have been making me laugh.. haha.

Time to start a new week. Oh boy.
