These photos are from a little stroll Zachary and I took in Harper's Ferry, WV on Memorial Day. Didn't know a post was going to come out of this, but I couldn't resist sharing one of my favorite places here again on the blog. Zachary was like a little kid in a candy store when he found out the Appalachian Trail runs through the town. The box of "trail magic" was outside of someone's house and filled with goodies for the hikers. Never knew there was this other whole world of hiking out there. It's true that we learn something new every day!

Last Friday, I spent the afternoon in Harpers Ferry with Marcy. Definitely one of my favorite places to go. I absolutely love it there! We were blessed with a little bit of sunshine, too. Here are some photos she snapped of me on her camera during our small adventure. This is the view of the Potomac River from Harpers Ferry; isn't it beautiful? You can see her post about it all here. Wishing we had more time to spend there, but of course we couldn't stay very long. The town looked prepared for Christmas, with lots of cute decorations everywhere. Cannot wait to go back and enjoy a little bit of the holiday season!
