SATURDAY MORNING SUNSHINE

This is how I spent my morning. Absolutely loving that the nice weather has finally decided to return. I am spending my weekend in Pennsylvania again, and I could not be happier that the sun is shining. Excited to enjoy this lovely day! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

SPRING NAILS

I decided to go against the way the weather has been behaving lately by adding some spring color to my nails. Makes me think of the warm weather that is soon coming (at least I hope it is). This rain here in the city seriously needs to go away. It seems the phrase "April showers bring May flowers" has reversed this year.

On a brighter note, I am loving that it's already Wednesday. The weekend is getting closer and closer!

PHOTOS FROM NEW YORK

Hope you all are having a great weekend! These are some photos that have been taken throughout my time in New York so far. Just a little random post for your Saturday night. It's crazy that I have lived here since the end of February. Time really does fly. Excited to take some bigger steps in making this my new home. Crossing my fingers and hoping that everything works out! I'm ready to become a little more comfortable with this city. It really is amazing (especially in the spring).

TODAY'S QUOTE

“To those who stay put, the world is but an imaginary place. But to the movers, the makers, and the shakers, the world is all around, an endless invitation.”

Ever have those type of days where you spend too much time thinking about life, whether it be the past, present, or future? Today was that day for me. Most of my 'thinking' is spent on my daily subway rides to and from home in Brooklyn. I don't know about you, but a lot of my time is spent worrying. Worrying about growing up and establishing myself, about how to budget so I don't have to eat ramen every day, and about losing connection with close family or friends. I try to live by that one saying 'don't worry be happy,' but sometimes it can be hard. Behind all the worry that clogs my mind, I do know that there is happiness though. I am so thankful that I had the ability to pack up and move to New York, with nothing or no one holding me back. I've always been one to take risks. I am told that my twenties is the time to explore new things, travel the world, find out who I am and what I want, and just enjoy life to the fullest. And, I am glad that's exactly how I'm spending these years. I will be able to come back and read this ten years from now and know that I was enjoying life the way it's meant to be enjoyed.

P.S. - Picked up these pretty flowers over the weekend and created vases out of wine bottles. They are now the centerpiece on the coffee table. Love the extra happiness they add my day!

DESKTOP IMAGES

(via ALDO, ASOS Magazine, NASTY GAL, Tattoologist)

I love when the weekend comes because then I can post the images that have been saved on my desktop all week. And the images I have taken myself. Recently, I became obsessed with the ASOS online magazine. Check out this previous post to visit their magazine. Love their platform color-blocked shoes, and of course their espadrilles! Since I commute an hour to school each day, I honestly feel like I live in my car. That photo was taken simply out of boredom while at a stop light! Oh, and I found an idea for my next tattoo! See my first one here. Just recently ordered that NASTY GAL tee, which says "La Mode Passe, Le Style Reste." I am in love with it already; just not so sure if that would make a good tattoo. What do you think? I enjoyed some really nice spring weather the other day; snapped some photos while on campus. Lastly, I have been missing Paris like crazy. A part of me just wants to fly back there and not look back! The thing I could be missing the most.. crepes.. haha. Nothing compares!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

All who have accomplished great things have had a great aim, have fixed their gaze on a goal which was high, one which sometimes seemed impossible.

Do you love this as much as I do? Lauren Graham, film director and music lover, has done an amazing job here in ASOS women's magazine. Check out this website to learn more about her work. Make sure to shop ASOS and read their online magazine. It's full of awesome inspiration and tips for spring! Also, I loved all of Lauren's quotes in this editorial. She seems like a woman who truly enjoys life.

URBAN OUTFITTERS S/S 2011

Retro prints, floral, lace, clogs, wide leg trousers, wedges.. everything I am loving from Urban's spring and summer lookbook! Mixing prints is one of my favorite things to do, and it's done so well here. I am still dying for a simple, white lace dress. When I wanted to invest in one, it was for going to be for my brother's wedding. And, well, there's no way I could wear that to a wedding.. duh. Check out the one from the lookbook here. Love the french inspired "MERCI BEAUCOUP" black and white shirt. Feel free to purchase it for me.. haha.

Enjoy being inspired with Urban this season and shop their spring trends here.
