So glad to finally have the weekend here, after an incredibly busy week. I'm currently listening to Taylor Swift's new album (don't judge), and I am thinking a french press of coffee should happen in the near future. These photos were taken the other day when I decided to break out some flares for the day. I surprise myself every time I put a pair on and love them. I especially love a good black pair!

THE CAMOFLAUGE JACKET

I apologize for my lack of updating lately. But, hey, take a look at this camo jacket I picked up at an antique mall during my stay in Pennsylvania. For $5! I am currently in Maryland having a quick visit with my family. It's been ahwile since I have made the trip back here, so I am enjoying the time with my parents. The two days always go by entiretly too fast.

P.S. - Yes, you see correctly. I chopped off my hair donated to Locks of Love yesterday morning! I haven't had my hair short in about 3 years, so it will take some getting used to. All in all, I was very excited about it!

DIFFERENT KIND OF STREETS

Yesterday, I got to venture away from the office into Soho for bit. It was nice being in a different part of town, but even nicer to actually be away from the office for lunch. Sometimes I get way too glued to my chair at work. It can be a problem. Side note: I just realized lately how extremely long my hair has gotten. Not so sure if it should be cut, or if I am into it. What do you think?

POLKA DOTS IN THE FALL

Weekend, you have been good to me so far. It's consisted of a little bit of productivity and a little bit of play time. I also received a life lesson from the woman at my nail salon tonight. She told me that life flies by, so make sure to enjoy it now. She is an older lady with three grown daughters, so my ears are always open to listen to whatever she has to say. And, I know she is right. I have been thinking more and more about the things I want to accomplish while still in my 20s. We all have heard of a '30 before 30' list, but maybe I should make a '25 before 25' list?

Pretty obsessed with turning my photos into little eye tricks lately. Photoshop is officially being added to my Christmas wish list. 

Side note: I pulled out these Steve Madden wedges today finally, and I'm pretty sure I will be wearing them all season long.

Can this week be going by any slower? I totally blame the nasty weather. New York City, where is the beautiful fall weather at? I am anxiously awaiting it. As you can see, my camera was not cooperating with the gloomy lighting. I've always loved out of focus photos though (remember this post?). So I couldn't help but post them anyways.

Yup, I am a supporter of the sneaker wedge trend. Paired them with some denim today- my perfect type of outfit. It's gonna be hard to limit myself to the number of wears I give these babies.

Hey, it's been awhile. But here I am again! Life has been a little hectic (promise to fill you in soon). My mom was here this past weekend for a quick visit and now Monday is here again. It always comes too soon. Couldn't the weekend last just a little bit longer?

P.S. - My SD card decided to remain corrupt, so the rest of my Bronx Zoo photos are lost. For good. And I am super bummed about it.

WEEKEND COMPANY

I loved having Brianna here for a short visit this weekend. We enjoyed a little bit of NYFW on Friday night and spent our Saturday relaxing in my neighborhood. Warning: these type of posts might pop up every time I have visitors. Bay Ridge is just too pretty to not show off.

While everyone has been going crazy with fashion week, I have been in Brooklyn having a quiet and restful weekend. After a long week, there is nothing else I would rather be doing. Monday morning, I do not look forward to you.
