Finally was able to go check out this barn-turned-store in Lucketts, Virginia. I shopped at some others in the town a few weeks ago. You can see my posts here and here. How amazing is this place? It's even better inside! I snapped lots and lots of photos that I will post here soon. Full of holiday and design inspiration. Another local shop was having a holiday event, and I cannot wait to share with you everything that was going on there! It was a well spent Saturday and a much needed break from the busyness finals are bringing. 

P.S. - All my crazy hair color is fading into bleach. Uh oh. What should I do to it next?!

THE VINTAGEMOBILE

So behind on posting, it's crazy. From not having my macbook and traveling back home, I have been M.I.A. Kinda (actually very) difficult getting used to not having my macbook. Anyways. I wanted to share with you all what I did on Sunday with my last day in Dallas.

I visited the Vintagemobile, a vintage boutique on wheels, in Oak Cliff. There are a variety of things to look at, and even try on in the little curtained fitting room in the corner of the school bus. When I first heard about it, I knew I had to go. The owner was very friendly as he greeted me and other shoppers. Definitely make sure to check it out if you are in the area.

STAY OR GO?

 Look at that ugly, dead grass. Cannot wait to see the real green grass back home! I enjoyed my days off this past week and found an amazing antique mall that had the biggest selection of jewelry I have ever seen. It was seriously heaven. Now I kinda wish I was staying in Texas, just for that.

TASTE OF HOME

Last week, I spent an afternoon at Watters Creek in Allen. Finally getting around to sharing the photos. It was such a cute little area of shops, restaurants, and apartments. I see a lot of these types of places around here in Texas. Jealous of the people living there. I was so happy to taste a little bit of home with the very green grass and scenery. Check out the quote from Mother Teresa they had against the brick through one of the walkways. There were several other quotes, but I chose my favorite to show you. I found some trendy boutiques and a coffee shop, of course! 

Less than two weeks until I am headed back to the East Coast -- I am trying to hold in my excitement. Until then, planning to enjoy Texas with the time off from my internship that I have.
