REYNOLDS MANSION

(Jason Wu for Target top, Forever 21 pants, Madden Girl sandals, Steve Madden bag - similar)

I got to spend some time at this beautiful bed and breakfast this past weekend. The old historic house added even more relaxation to my Saturday and Sunday. I was one happy girl. Reynolds Mansion was only my second stay at a bed and breakfast (this being my first).

Hope your week has been starting off well. Here's to hoping the rest of it flies by!

MILITARY DETAILS

(Jason Wu for Target blouse, I 'Heart' Ronson top, necklace from Rugged Wearhouse, Gap jeans, G by Guess oxfords, vintage rings)

I have never been one to spend hours on my hair in the morning, so I am taking small steps to add something extra to my regular (mostly boring) styles. As you can see, I added a little braid around today's top knot. This was a small attempt to stop being lazy with my hair. My one wish in life: to have a personal hairstylist when I wake up every day. If only my wish could actually come true..

P.S. - What happened to the warm weather, New York?

SUNDAY BRUNCH

(Jason Wu for Target top, Gap jeans- similar, vintage loafers, Danielle Nicole bag, necklace from Nordstrom Rack, vintage rings)

This Sunday was spent at brunch with Chanelle (check out her cute upside down braid), after being gifted with a Living Social deal from my lovely momma. The deal was for this little Italian restaurant near Cobble Hill in Brooklyn. Since we did not make reservations, they gave us the option of sitting outside. Just went with it, but the downside of that was slow service since we were the only ones out there. Not the best experience, but thankful that my mom thought of us! The day was also spent being brave and entering Trader Joe's for some groceries. If you don't know already, that place is one big madhouse here in the city. But, to me it's all worth it! I was one happy girl to finally make it there.

Now, we are spending this rainy night cooking up some french onion soup (well.. I am just kind of watching). She claims to be a pro, so I am ready to find out! Love spending my Sundays with good food, rest, and relaxation before starting another work week.
