CASUAL FRIDAY

(American Apparel cardigan, H&M shirt, DKNY leggings, Nine West boots- similar, vintage bag, Michael Kors watch, necklace from Nordstrom Rack, random bracelets and ring)

I totally (and proudly) soaked in the term 'casual Friday' today and went for a comfortable and relaxed outfit. It was definitely one of those mornings where I didn't have enough energy and just wanted something easy to wear. I am so excited for the weekend that is already here! Tonight will be a night spent in with my roommate, enjoying wine and pizza. Who else loves Trader Joe's Wine Shop as much as I do? After working all week, there's nothing I would rather do than relax at home. Plus, gotta prepare for Saint Patrick's Day tomorrow! Cannot wait to enjoy the Irish holiday here in the city and possibly partake in the crazy festivities they have going on. All I know is that Guinness cupcakes will be happening.

Happy (early) St. Patty's Day!

BUNDLED UP AT COLUMBUS SQUARE

(Michael Kors pants- similar, thrifted blouse, Zara sweater- similar, borrowed K&K cape, hat from random boutique in Paris, Bamboo booties, Michael Kors watch, all vintage bracelets)

This past Sunday in New York City was an extremely cold one. Some snow was even spotted falling into the night. Who agrees with me that the weather has been very weird this winter? One day it feels like spring, and then it's flurrying the next day. I had to swing by Zara and pick up this sweater in order to survive. Still, I was freezing! The highlight of my day was being inside and enjoying a delicious cappuccino and quiche for brunch at AQ Kafé right near Columbus Square. Can't wait to break out these hot pink pants again, but when I don't have to be all bundled up.

FISHTAIL

(American Apparel tee)

I have been trying and trying to master the art of the fishtail braid. Still haven't gotten there yet, even after many youtube videos. Oh well. My dream would be to have a personal hairstylist when I wake up every morning, but who wouldn't love that? I just don't have the patience to do anything special with my hair.

Hope you all had a good day. I enjoyed my day off!

THREE RANDOMS

(via Jill Milan, American Apparel, tumblr)

It's Sunday Funday! Well, for most of you guys. I am currently stuck slaving over homework. Just took a break to look at some random inspiration for today. Check out Jill Milan's handbags here, which are all made directly from the city of Florence. Also, American Apparel features some awesome images for inspiration! Lastly, I cannot get enough of black and white photos. Blake Lively has become the definition of fashionista. She is being seen more and more in the fashion world! I have to admit, I do love her style.

Enjoy your day and remember to appreciate every moment!
