This weekend has been full of mixed emotions. Happy, excited, sad, overwhelmed.. they have all taken over me. My parents drove me up yesterday to begin my new life here in New York, and they left this afternoon (some tears may have been shed). We spent the morning having coffee in Brooklyn, and I showed them around Union Square because my work is right in that area. This week will be a bit crazy getting all adjusted to everything here. You would think after my many visits to New York, it would be a little easier. It's just not the same. This time I do not have a return trip booked.
My first day of the new job is tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Congrats on NY!! I love your accessories. I'm an accessory/jewelry dumby... I never know what to buy or wear. Do you have any accessory tips? What's your favorite store to buy jewelry?
ReplyDeleteGood luck Lissy! Love you!
ReplyDeleteTayKat - I actually shop at tons of vintage stores, antique malls, and flea markets. That's where I find the most unique things! Don't be afraid to mix and match different types of jewelry. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice! I went to the Georgetown Flea Market and bought two great gold necklaces today. I wrote about it and referenced your blog!!! Check it out @ www.trendycheapo.com.
