PARIS, JE T'AIME

Last week when Marcy was in the city visiting, she reminded me that our "Paris anniversary" was soon approaching. Today marks the day that we both packed up and ventured to the City of Light together. It's been exactly two years, and I cannot believe how time has flown by since then. Paris is on my mind quite often (especially when Marcy and I get together). I miss so many things about the amazing city- the delicious food, amazing architecture, the beautiful Eiffel Tower, and especially the friends I made there. I had an obsession with Paris long before I went to live there for four months, and it has not gone away one bit. My travels through Europe will always be remembered as the best decision I could ever make.

I never get sick of watching this video Marcy made after we got back. I love remembering the good times we had. Paris, I cannot wait for the day I reunite with you.

HALF AND HALF

(thrifted blouse, shorts from South Moon Under- similar, Jefferey Campbell sandals,  Michael Kors watch, gifted ring, Danielle Nicole bag, thrifted bracelets, random sunglasses)

My weekend was spent with Zachary in his hometown of Warren, PA. I had fun being a little tourist and even making him feel like a tourist in his own town. Our day was spent enjoying the beautiful weather and gorgeous scenery. There is always adventure waiting for me whenever I spend time with him, and I love it. It makes my escapes from the city worth it. I even got to enjoy some Tim Hortons, which I was first introduced to by Marcy. Sometimes I feel like I am living two different lives, but a part of me likes it that way sometimes. Let's just say I am half and half. Half city girl and half country girl. Wait, did I just say that?

Lots more pictures will be showing up here of the beautiful things I got to see near Warren.

SEVEN THINGS [I WILL MISS]

So, tomorrow marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life! I am going to be moving to the amazing city of New York! The reality of this has not really set in yet, but I am preparing myself for it. I am very blessed to have this opportunity, and I am excited to see where my life will lead starting with this big move. Not to mention, having a normal schedule with weekends off (woo hoo!). In honor of this new journey, I decided to share with you all some things that I will be missing. Although the city will be incredible (um hello, it's New York!), there will be times when I start to miss things about home.

1. My favorite restaurant, Main Cup. Especially their mahi sandwich and sweet potato fries- best meal ever.
2. Walking along the Potomac River.
3. Green grass and country views (plus driving with the windows down and music playing).
4. Bonfires with the family.
5. The true friends I have here at home.
5. My room/closet.
6. Baltimore Coffee- the best place on earth (thank goodness I can order it online).

Let the NYFW fun begin!

Also.. it's time to announce the winner of my JewelMint giveaway. My apologies for being a day late on this. Congrats to Linda of Tender Allure! Enjoy receiving one free piece of your choice from JewelMint and thank you for following my blog! xo

LANCASTER CONTINUED

Here are some random photos from my trip to Pennsylvania. Snapshots of downtown Lancaster, details of our room at the B&B, and some from the antique stores we browsed.

I had an amazing birthday this past weekend spent with family and friends. I'm truly thankful for the way God has blessed my life in the past year, and I am excited to see what life holds for me next. Thank you to all of those who wished me a Happy Birthday!

A B&B, SUNSHINE, AND CECIL

(3.1 Philip Lim top, Old Navy pants, G by Guess oxfords, gifted striped ring, bracelet from Etsy, other thrifted jewelry)

Here are some photos taken outside of the Amethyst Inn. It was a very sunny morning, hence my squinty eyes. Also, can you tell my mom was being a bit creative? Pretty soon she will be a pro photographer.. haha. As I said before, I loved this little B&B! Oh, and the owner's shaggy dog Cecil. He was one of the biggest dogs I have ever seen, but look at how cute he is! Of course my mom was crazy about him. I'm just waiting for her to get me a dog. But, a little puppy that never grows! Maybe one will appear on my birthday that is this Sunday (wishful thinking). We spent our day mapping out the best antique malls and thrift stores in the Lancaster area. It was a great time, as you can see here.
