A NEW PLACE TO CALL HOME

After a few long weekends and lots of shopping trips, the vision for my new Brooklyn apartment has now become reality. Here's a look at my room. I think I am finally done! My inspiration for it came from many different sources, including one of my favorite bloggers (hummusbird). Lots of white lace, nature-inspired decor, and of course a few maps. There's nothing more 'me' than this. It feels so good to have a place that is all mine.

TOO MANY CLOTHES

This past week was dedicated to redesigning my bedroom in my parent's house. Well, along with the help from my wonderful father. After getting back from Texas, there was no way all my clothes were gonna fit in my super small closet. I let my imagination run wild with the idea of transforming my room into a walk in closet. I added some shelves from Ikea and.. voila! Of course I had to share the finished product with you. The only thing is that I'm afraid the wooden poles aren't strong enough.. uh oh. Keeping my fingers crossed that my clothes wont be all over the ground Monday night when I get back from the beach.
